Embark on the most beautiful white water adventure in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region in the heart of the Southern Alps.

This course lasts from 2 to 5 days and is organised around rafting, canyoning and canoeing activities only from 15 April to 15 June.

The nights, dinner and breakfast are in comfortable gîte accommodation, with lunch on the riverbank in a canyon.

The first launch of the trip takes place in the Alpes de Haute Provence, at our rafting and outdoor activities base in the Ubaye Valley near Barcelonnette. This is where the first big thrills of rafting begin on the beautiful Ubaye rapids swollen with snowmelt from the ski resorts of Pra Loup and Super Sauze.

We then cross the mountain on the Haut Verdon side for the discovery of kayak-air and canoe activities between the ski resort of La Foux d'Allos and Saint-André les Alpes in a magnificent, intimate landscape.

For the next part of the trip, depending on your level and that of the rivers, we will go to the Daluis Gorges, the Tinée valley or the Vésubie, for more technical rafting or kayaking descents or to a canyon for an initiation or improvement course in canyoning. This last activity is practiced in canyons on the edge of the Mercantour Park.

All the activities of the stay are done with a guide who will take care of your comfort. These days of training in the open air are not suitable for families with children because of their technical nature. A multi-activity trip like this one can combine sports rafting, technical canoeing, hiking, via ferrata, climbing and sometimes even mountain biking. Our tour, if you have opted for the longer one, ends in the Roya valley in the hinterland of Nice, the extreme south east of France.  As the crow flies, the coast is only 50 km away, following the water of the Roya canyon. 

However, despite the comfort of the Roya, you will notice that every day of canyoning, hiking or rafting is a physical and technical challenge.

For a weekend in the region, depending on your level, the multi-discovery course is even better, you can choose a paragliding flight, a bike ride or a mountain bike descent, a canyoning + via ferrata course, an ulm flight or why not a parachute jump. You will find more information on multi-weekend activities with comfortable accommodation, hiking with or without a bike and a guide in all the Tourist Offices in the Park and the surrounding area. You will see that the prices of the activities posted by family or for the children, it is not flight compared to the duration and the quality of the training course rafting discovery or sporting.
